Daisy and Delilah Comic 3: Someone New- Part 1 

Concept- The third issue for my first webcomic "Daisy and Delilah." The synopsis for the comic: "Welcome to the town of Bridgewell, where the forests and beaches are a highlight. There are two witches living in town and most believe the witches are scary but soon find that Daisy and Delilah wouldn't hurt a fly. With monsters in the forests and witches in the town, Bridgewell is not your ordinary place. Follow the everyday lives of Daisy and Delilah and their fellow neighbors as they deal with the daily happenings of their town."

Space Oddity Adaptation 

Concept- This comic the based on the song Space Oddity by David Bowie. The prompt was to include musical elements within the comic.

My Little Shining Moon

Concept- This comic is an adaptation of the song "Φεγγαράκι μου Λαμπρó" (My Little Shining Moon). The song tells the story of when Greece was under Ottoman occupation, boys would attend secret schools because they weren't allowed to learn the Greek language or about Christianity. These schools were usually held at night in the basements of houses to keep them hidden.

Medusa and the Curse of the Gods

Concept- This comic is an adaptation of the myth of Medusa combining a mix of variations of the origin myth of Medusa. I pulled from the three main versions of the story. Likely the original from Libya where Medusa was considered a snake goddess and the two Greco-Roman versions from Hesiod and Ovid which have a different story of who Medusa's parents were and how she became a gorgon when she was cursed by Athena.
